At Christ Presbyterian Church, we are building a community of youth who take to heart the name "Brothers And Sisters In Christ." We expect our fellowship members to be open and accepting to everyone who wishes to join us in our adventures. Our youth fellowship is faith and mission-focused, and much of our time together is spent serving the church and the community. The youth of Christ Presbyterian Church realize that actions speak louder than words, and they hope to demonstrate their faith in their everyday life choices.

The youth meet during the Church School hour on Sundays -- 9:45 to 10:45 am -- and at a variety of other times throughout each month. For more information, please contact the Church Office.

Join in a conversation with 5 teenage friends as they search for a way to live that is meaningful and authentic. Explore alongside them as they ask the really big questions about life, relationships, and faith. The longer you stay, the more you will learn about them -- and yourself. Just click on the Way to Live icon, to the left.

Way to live

Biking on the Virginia Creeper Trail.

In July, our youth took a day-long bike trip on the Virginia Creeper Trial. Afterwards, everyone enjoyed a cookout and a rest along the creek.

Good food at the end of the trail.

Good food competes with even better scenery.

On Sunday, February 3, the youth of Christ Presbyterian Church participate in the Souper Bowl of Caring. They join their efforts with those of youth in churches across the country who hold out soup pots for donations to help alleviate hunger. When the soup pots are emptied, they take the money to Second Harvest Food Bank to help in its efforts to end hunger in Mecklenburg County.

Our youth also participate in other service activities throughout the year -- such as the 30-Hour Famine -- that promote awareness of the needs in our community and help us share the love of Christ with our neighbors.
